Na de debuutsingle Her Big Man, die op het moment meer dan voldoende airplay krijgt bij TMF en met name MTV Brand New, komt het vrolijke viertal uit Rotjeknor nog geen twee maanden later met een knallert van een opvolger op Excelsior Recordings. Je Suis Parti, dé Franstalige zomerhit van het jaar, wordt -mede als gevolg van het officieel verdwijnen van de CD-single- uitgebracht op vinyl en zal tevens vergekrijgbaar zijn in de moderne online singlesbak die iTunes heet. De door Kees Patijn op celluloid vastgelegde capriolen en flauwekul op de eeste zomerdagen van 2008, resulteerde in de video voor Je Suis Parti, waarin het olijke kwartet voor het eerst officieel wordt voorgesteld aan het grote publiek. Laat die zomer nou maar komen! Frans kent The Madd niet, maar The Madd kent Frans wel!
