New song + live shows El Pino & The Volunteers

A message from El Pino & The Volunteers…

It’s been a while…
… but rest assured we’ll be playing live and recording again soon!

Granted, it may have taken a little while for us to regroup and write new material. But the songs are here now and the urge to head back on the road is spreading like a burning fever. And, of course, with Tjirk back on guitar, our line-up is complete once again. There you go, I said it: the second oldest Volunteer, the prodigal son, the bender of Fenders has returned in our midst. And frankly it feels like he has never left. We are a fivesome once again.

To all guitarists who applied for the job: thank you very much for your e-mails, we were thrilled to see so many guys and girls out there Voluntering for the job. One guy even offered to move to Rotterdam, how about that? We’re sorry that it didn’t work out, but, as a great man once said, “Nothing feels better than blood on blood.”

We have a couple of tour dates coming up in the near future, here’s the schedule:

sun 22/03 – Plein 79, Den Bosch

Right now we’re busy practicing the new set. This February we’ll head out to Reyns joyous little studio to start the recordings of our upcoming album. Can’t wait! Speaking of which: as a small token of our appreciation for your patience we’ve recorded one of the new tracks at our headquarters.
